     AICCRE wants to contribute to the empowerment of local and regional governments in development cooperation. The idea is to organise meetings with local administrators to promote and advocate for an enabling environment for EU LRGs to bring their expertise in partner countries, at the EU and at national levels, ensure better support of the citizens, the EU institutions and national governments to decentralised cooperation. The challenge is to create in Italy a delivery mechanism and promotion of best practices and studies on decentralised cooperation. National Multi-stakeholder dialogue on development is an activity that is organized in the period 2016– 2018. The dialogue with Ministers (2017) Development Dialogues organized by AICCRE in Italian regions are open to the public and are intended to involve mayors, local authorities and citizens who are not aware of Agenda 2030 and SDGs.
